As part of our ongoing commitment to vulnerable communities, this Zambia appeal is one of the regular relief missions Al-Ianah organizes to deliver life-saving aid where it’s needed most.

Zambia faces persistent challenges: chronic poverty, high rates of malnutrition, recurrent droughts and floods, and a heavy burden of HIV/AIDS and malaria. Rural families often walk miles for clean water, children miss school due to hunger or illness, and orphans—many made so by the epidemic—grow up with little hope for the future.

Why Zambia needs your help

• Widespread hunger & malnutrition: Nearly 40% of children under five are stunted, and food insecurity spikes during the “lean season” when harvests run low.

• Water scarcity & sanitation gaps: In remote districts, fewer than half of households have access to safe drinking water or basic latrines—fueling diarrheal diseases.

• Disease burden: Malaria remains a leading killer, and HIV prevalence leaves countless children orphaned and households overwhelmed.

• Education barriers: School fees, uniforms and supplies put primary education out of reach for many, trapping families in poverty.

  Hand-pumps, solar wells and filtration systems to restore reliable access to clean water.

• Orphan Sponsorship
  Monthly stipends, school fees, uniforms and mentorship that give orphaned boys and girls the security and opportunity they deserve.
